Hi, My name is Maja Rodzevski and I am so excited to share why I am going on The Race with you guys.
I had been praying about what to do after high school. It had been something that was really heavy on my heart. I didn’t feel like college was for me. Which honestly made me kind of sad because I always felt like college was just what you did. One night while I was praying and reading my bible the words world and race were highlighted to me. I had no idea what God was telling me or what he meant by that. I got really frustrated with God. The next morning I went to a prayer group at my church. A girl named Liz Cloutier who is a world race alumni was there. She was telling me about something that she had experienced while on The Race. I then knew for sure that God had answered my prayers about what to do after High School.
I am going on this to experience what God has for me. I am going on this to through the power of the Holy Spirit to share the gospel with others. I am very excited to see what God does in me and through me in this next season. I am so excited to see what God does through and in the other Racers who will be alongside me as well.
I would be lying if I told you that I wasn’t nervous or scared, but we serve a powerful amazing God! Who truly shows up for us! He loves us so so much! He loves every single one of us.
